Privacy

What we collect, and what we don’t.

Short version: this site has no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. The only personal data we hold is what you type into one of our forms, and you can have it deleted by asking.

Last updated 3 September 2026. This policy covers the website gohirenova.com and the enquiries we receive through it.

The short version

  • We ask before using Google Analytics. Nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set unless you click Accept. Nothing else tracks you.
  • No third-party fonts, scripts or embeds — every page loads only from our own server.
  • We collect personal data only when you choose to submit a form.
  • We never sell or rent your details, and we don’t add you to a marketing list.
  • Email [email protected] and we will delete what we hold about you.

What we collect

If you submit the staffing request form

We receive what you enter: your name, company, work email, and optionally your phone number, the type of company you are, which engagement model interests you, which roles you need, how many seats, the shift and time zone, the systems you run, and any notes you add.

If you apply through the careers page

We receive your name, email, phone number, where you are based, the roles that interest you, your self-assessed English level, your logistics experience, your availability for night shifts, and anything you write about yourself — including any link to a CV you choose to share.

Sent automatically with either form

Along with your submission we record the date and time, the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string. We keep these to stop automated abuse of the form and for no other purpose.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, and the user-agent — as any web server does. They are used for security and troubleshooting.

Analytics, and what we don’t do

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. You are asked on your first visit; until you click Accept, Google’s script is not loaded and no analytics cookie exists. If you accept, it sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic details about your device and browser. We have IP anonymisation enabled, so Google receives a truncated address rather than your full one. We use it to see what is worth writing more of — not to build a profile of you, and not to advertise to you.

Beyond that: no advertising or remarketing pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting, no third-party fonts, and no social media trackers. The only other third-party request on the site is the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check, which appears on our two forms.

You can change your mind at any time: click Cookie settings in the footer of any page to see the choice again. Declining after accepting stops further collection immediately. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal we treat that as a decline and don’t ask. We remember your choice in a single first-party cookie (nova_consent) for one year, which holds nothing but the word “granted” or “denied”

Why we hold it, and on what basis

  • To reply to your enquiry. You gave it to us for that purpose and ticked the consent box before sending.
  • To consider you for a role, if you applied through the careers page.
  • To keep the site working and unabused — our legitimate interest in preventing spam and attacks.

Where the GDPR applies to you, our legal bases are your consent for the first two and legitimate interest for the third. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Who else can see it

We don’t sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. It is handled by us, and by the following service providers acting on our behalf:

  • Our own server. Form submissions are stored on a private server we operate, behind authentication. They are not stored with any third-party form service.
  • Cloudflare provides DNS for this domain and forwards mail sent to our @gohirenova.com addresses.
  • Google — provides the analytics described above, and mail forwarded to us is delivered into a Google mailbox, so anything you email us is stored there.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

  • Staffing enquiries — for as long as we are in contact about your requirement, and afterwards only as long as needed for our business records.
  • Job applications — up to 12 months, so we can come back to you when a matching role opens. Tell us and we’ll delete it sooner.
  • Server logs — a short rolling window, then they are overwritten automatically.

Your rights

Whatever jurisdiction you’re in, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Depending on where you live you may also have a right to object to processing, to request a portable copy, or to complain to your data protection authority.

We don’t sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of under US state privacy laws in that respect.

To exercise any of this, email [email protected]. We’ll respond promptly and won’t make you jump through hoops.

International transfers

Nova operates between the United States and Ukraine, and the service providers above operate internationally. If you contact us, your details may be handled in either country and by those providers. We apply the same confidentiality obligations wherever the data sits.

Children

This is a business-to-business site and a recruitment site for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored on a server we control, and access to them requires authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we don’t collect payment details, government identifiers or any other sensitive category of data through this site — and please don’t send them to us.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
